We are not the lowest quote in South Florida, and that is on purpose. The price for your Tesla is published by size before anything starts and there is no fee added at pickup. Every film job includes the wash, the clay and iron decontamination, light paint correction where the paint needs it, wrapped edges wherever the panel allows, and a car that stays indoors from drop-off to pickup. A quote that beats it by a few hundred dollars is leaving one of those out.
Budget film usually has no anti-yellowing top coat and no registered warranty: two or three Florida summers and it yellows, stains and goes hard on the paint.
Paint protection film has to last at least ten years and stay clear the whole time. That is what your Tesla gets here: Urban with a 10-year warranty or Ceramic Pro PPF with a lifetime warranty, registered in your name, with the job reported to the vehicle’s CARFAX.
The worst case is the common one: a few years from now you pay to have a protection removed that looked cheap today and was supposed to last a decade, and you find the paint marked underneath. The cheap film cost twice.

On a Tesla
- Tesla paint is soft and thin at the front bumper and the hood edge; a blade trim on the car leaves a mark you will see the day the film comes off.
- Model 3, Model Y, Model S and Model X carry cameras in the fenders and the front bumper and ultrasonic sensors around the nose: the film goes around every lens and sensor, never over it.
- The lower bumper has tight radii around the vents; an edge cut short there lifts at the first wash, so the edges are wrapped.
Ceramic coating: what the word does not tell you
What the word hides
- “Ceramic coating” is not a regulated term. Any product with some SiO2 in it can carry the name, even in a trace amount, with no proven durability test, even when it is a sealant in practice.
- There is a wide gap between a true professional coating and the spray coatings and DIY kits sold with the same words on the label.
- The cheapest quote may be applying a coating bought online, or a DIY kit, and charging for it as professional work. You cannot tell from the gloss on delivery day.
- What separates them is chemical resistance, thickness, durability measured in years and a warranty registered in your name.
