Car Wraps, Paint Protection and Ceramic Coating in Davie, FL
Our address is 4651 SW 51st St, Unit 812, Davie, FL 33314. That is most of what this page is here to say. Elite Premium Detailing is not a van that pulls into your driveway or a booth that moves when the lease runs out — it is a climate-controlled shop in Davie, five minutes off I-595 and next door to the Hard Rock Hotel, where 4,600+ vehicles have been corrected, wrapped, filmed and coated.
Davie is a strange town for paint. Nova Southeastern's 314-acre campus sits on one side of it, Pine Island Ridge and the ranch properties on the other, and I-595, SR-84 and Griffin Road run grit across both. Add about 65 inches of rain a year, an average maximum UV index of 7 from May through September, and irrigation water that on a lot of Davie properties comes straight out of a private well. Most of this page is about that specific set of problems and what we actually do about them.
Every service we sell happens inside that one building — car wraps and color change, paint protection film, Ceramic Pro coatings, KAVACA window tint, paint correction, wheels and calipers. Nothing gets subcontracted and nothing leaves the shop. There is a free inspection before anything starts, a written price for your exact vehicle, and 0% financing for 12 months through Synchrony on every service we offer.
Every service, in the same building
Davie clients do not have to pick a different shop per job. Wrap, film, coating, tint and correction all happen here, on the same car, on the same schedule, by the same crew.

Over ten years serving South Florida
Elite Premium Detailing operates from Davie: 4651 SW 51st St, Unit 812, Davie, FL 33314. We are a Certified Ceramic Pro Elite Dealer, and 4,600+ vehicles have gone through this floor.
- The whole shop is climate-controlled. Not one booth with a fan and an open roll-up door. Dust and humidity are what put bubbles and lifted edges under film and dirt in a curing coating, and neither one gets in here.
- Thirty to forty vehicles a month, on purpose. A shop running a hundred cars a month is not giving any of them the hours a full wrap or a multi-stage correction actually takes. We would rather turn work away than rush it off the floor.
- Five minutes off I-595, south of the highway near Griffin Road, next to the Hard Rock Hotel. Easy in, and easy back out toward Fort Lauderdale, Miami or the Turnpike.
- Monday to Saturday, 9 AM to 5 PM. Call or text (786) 876-7891 or (954) 335-3693.
You can walk in during those hours, stand on the floor and look at a car that is mid-job. In this industry that is not a small thing.
What Davie actually does to a finish
South Florida water comes out of limestone. The Town of Davie's System III plant draws its groundwater from the Biscayne Aquifer and aerates, softens, filters, disinfects and fluoridates it before it ever reaches a hose. Even softened, it still leaves mineral behind when it dries on hot paint. That is all a water spot is.
The bigger problem in Davie is the water that gets no treatment at all. A lot of properties here irrigate from private shallow wells, and that water carries iron. When it lands on paint, glass and wheel faces and then bakes dry in the sun, the iron oxidizes and bonds to the surface — the same orange staining Davie homeowners fight on driveways, pavers and stucco. On a car it reads as a dull orange cast low on the doors, along the rockers and across the wheels, and a normal wash does not touch it.
Stacked on top of that:
- Around 65 inches of rain a year, most of it between June and September, and an average maximum UV index of 7 from May through September.
- Lovebug flights in late April and May, then again from late August into September. Crushed lovebug remains start close to neutral, around pH 6.5, and turn acidic — roughly pH 4.25 — inside about a day. Left on hot paint over a weekend, they etch it.
- Road grit off I-595, SR-84 and Griffin Road, plus lime rock and sand carried onto pavement from the unpaved shoulders and ranch roads on Davie's west side.
None of this is exotic. It is just what a car parked outdoors in 33314 lives through — and it is why a coating that rinses clean and a film that eats the impact are worth more here than they are in most of the country.
Roofs and hoods age first, and the film makers say so
Here is the part most shops skip. Wrap and film durability figures are published for vertical surfaces. Your doors and fenders are vertical. Your roof, hood and trunk lid are not, and they do not last the same.
- 3M rates Wrap Film Series 2080 at up to eight years of MCS Warranty on vertical applications, and states plainly that the warranty varies by zone.
- Avery Dennison defines durability as the period a product is expected to perform satisfactorily when applied in vertical exposure conditions. Its published SW900 figures are vertical figures. Horizontal panels carry their own, far shorter terms.
- Avery's own bulletin cuts the warranty by 20% for non-vertical surfaces — anything 10 to 45 degrees off vertical — and cuts it again depending on which geographic exposure zone the car lives in: 20% in one zone, 60% in another.
- 3M lists angle and direction of sun exposure, environmental conditions, and cleaning and maintenance methods among the things that decide how long a graphic actually lives. It also recommends storing wrapped vehicles in a temperature-controlled garage.
We would rather you hear that before you pay than after. It changes real decisions: whether the roof gets wrapped at all, whether paint protection film goes on the hood underneath the vinyl, whether a coating goes over the top so the horizontal panels can be rinsed instead of scrubbed. If a shop quotes you one number of years for a whole car without asking where it parks, they are quoting you a brochure.
Keeping it that way, by the manufacturers' own rules
Most wraps and coatings that fail early in Florida fail because of how the car was washed, not how it was installed. The film makers are specific about this, so we are too.
- Never scrub film. 3M says scratching and abrasion marks may not be able to be worked out of the film's finish, and to avoid harsh chemicals and brushes.
- Watch what is in the soap. 3M asks for a cleaner that is wet, non-abrasive, free of solvents, and between pH 3 and 11. Avery Dennison states that products containing petroleum distillates or solvents — including some soaps, waxes and protective coatings — void the warranty outright.
- Matte and satin are the fussiest finishes you can own. Avery warns that matte materials are subject to extreme color and gloss shift when exposed to cleaners, wax and polish. If you want low-effort matte, that is an argument for a coating, not for a bottle of wax.
- Abrasion and gloss loss are treated as normal wear. Avery does not cover them under any warranty, and it does not warrant paint staining that shows up after removing film that has already cracked or discolored. Read our warranty page before you assume anything about what is covered and what is not.
- Point the sprinklers away from the driveway. In Davie that is the cheapest thing you will ever do for your paint, and it matters most on well irrigation. If well water does land on the car, rinse it before it dries.
- Rinse after a lovebug flight the same day, not next weekend.
Leaving the car with us
The first visit is an inspection, and it costs nothing. We go over the paint with you under lights, tell you what needs correcting before anything goes over it, and hand you a written price for your exact vehicle. No deposit to book it.
- Loaner Car Assistance. Enterprise is about a mile from the shop. We book it at our partner rate — around $35 a day — and drive you over. On the way back you leave the rental at the branch and they bring you to us. Neither ride costs extra. To be clear about what this is: it is help getting a rental, not a free courtesy car.
- 0% financing for 12 months through Synchrony, on every service we offer, with an approval decision in minutes right in the shop.
- Updates at each stage while the car is here — not one phone call on the day it is finished.
- Monday to Saturday, 9 AM to 5 PM. Short jobs can start the same day. A full color change, a full body film or a multi-stage correction with a coating over it is measured in days, and we will give you the real number before you hand over the keys.
Davie first, then the rest of Broward and Miami-Dade
Davie sprawls, so here are the reference points. We are south of I-595 near Griffin Road, minutes from Nova Southeastern University's 314-acre campus and from Pine Island Ridge — the 101-acre natural area that holds the highest natural elevation in Broward County, all 29 feet of it. Downtown Davie's western-themed district and the Bergeron Rodeo Grounds are a short drive north. The Hard Rock Hotel is next door.
Davie is also one of the last places in South Florida where horses are legally kept on residential property, with town-maintained equestrian trails on the west side. The practical version of that, for a shop: the same bay takes a ranch-road pickup in the morning and a garage-kept exotic in the afternoon, and neither one gets a different standard.
Because we are here, everything around us is close. Cooper City is under ten minutes. Plantation is one exit west on I-595. Hollywood is ten minutes up US-441, Fort Lauderdale fifteen minutes down the 595, Weston straight down Royal Palm Boulevard, and Miami about thirty minutes up the Turnpike. If you are outside Davie, the areas we serve page has the page for your city.
