How the coating goes on
Two to three days for most cars. The coating needs a stable, dust-free room to flash and cure, so it happens in the bay and not in a driveway or a garage.
- Free inspection. Under lights, with you there. Sprinkler spots, wash swirls and any oxidation get identified, because a coating seals in whatever is under it.
- Decontamination and correction. Iron remover, tar remover, clay, then machine polishing. One stage is in every package; if the paint needs more, we say so before starting, not after.
- Layered by hand. 9H base coats build the thickness, Top Coat brings the gloss and slickness. Each layer flashes before the next, panel by panel, in a climate-controlled room.
- Cure and documentation. The car sits indoors while the coating hardens, then the package is registered with Ceramic Pro and reported to CARFAX against the VIN, with the annual inspection date on your paperwork.
Warranty terms and the annual inspection
Bronze is warrantied for 2 years, Silver for 5, Gold for the lifetime of the car, ION for 7 years, Ultimate ION for lifetime. These are Ceramic Pro manufacturer warranties, registered by us as the certified installer and visible on the CARFAX report. They cover the coating failing; they do not cover impacts, and they do not cover staining that was left to bake on.
The annual inspection is the condition. Once a year the car comes back, we check the coating and record it, and lifetime stays lifetime. Skip it and the term falls back to a fixed number of years. The full documents, in English and Spanish, are on our warranty page.
Well-kept cars, hard water and the Alley
Weston is planned, landscaped and irrigated, and irrigation is the coating's job here. Sprinkler water dries on the lower doors before sunrise and leaves mineral spots; on bare clear coat they etch and need polishing, on a coated car they rinse off. The dust that blows in off the Everglades edge and the Alley settles the same way and comes off the same way.
