Overview

What every Ford needs, and what it costs in Davie

Ford work in the bay is trucks and Mustangs. F-150s, Raptors and Super Duties come in for a front end that faces I-75 and the Alley every day and, more and more, for a color change or a chrome delete while the truck is here. Mustang GTs and Dark Horses come for full body film because the paint colors Ford sells them in do not touch up invisibly. Sawgrass Ford in Sunrise is about twenty minutes from the shop.

The shop is at 5150 SW 48th Way in Davie, next to the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel. Pick your Ford in the instant quote and every price on this page unlocks for your truck or car.

Delivery day

Getting a brand-new car? Come straight to us.

The right time to protect a car is before its first wash, its first rain and its first run down I-595: no chip to fill, no swirl to polish out, no contamination to pull off the paint before the film goes on. Every week the car spends bare is a week of sand, love bugs and pressure-wash marks that have to be corrected first.

Some customers schedule the delivery of the car straight to our shop: the salesperson hands it over in Davie, next to the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel, the car rolls into the bay without a mile on the road, and it leaves with PPF, coating and tint on before the first drive.

F-150 and Bronco hoods and mirror caps take chips in the first week of highway, and the repainted panel is found by the gauge at trade-in: hundreds to repaint, more than that off the value.

  • Book before delivery, we hold the slot for the day the car arrives
  • Delivery mileage only: no wash marks, no chips, no swirls to correct first
  • Film, coating and tint in one visit, so the car goes home finished

From protection to customization: same car, same shop, new color.

A full color change starts at $3,000 for a compact and runs to $3,950 for a large SUV, in 3M 2080, Avery Dennison SW900 or Inozetek super gloss, wrapped panel by panel with handles, badges and trim removed where the design calls for it. Your size: from $3,000.

Send a photo of your car below and tell us the color; you get a mock-up of your own car in that film in seconds, and a written price follows once we see the paint. Chrome deletes, roofs and accents are priced separately and cost far less.

The cheapest PPF job is the one you never have to redo

We are not the lowest quote in South Florida, and that is on purpose. The price for your Ford is published by size before anything starts and there is no fee added at pickup. Every film job includes the wash, the clay and iron decontamination, light paint correction where the paint needs it, wrapped edges wherever the panel allows, and a car that stays indoors from drop-off to pickup. A quote that beats it by a few hundred dollars is leaving one of those out.

Cheap paint protection film being pulled off the door of a white car, yellowed and stretched out of shapeBudget film coming off a door after a few Florida summers.

Budget film usually has no anti-yellowing top coat and no registered warranty: two or three Florida summers and it yellows, stains and goes hard on the paint.

Paint protection film has to last at least ten years and stay clear the whole time. That is what your Ford gets here: Urban with a 10-year warranty or Ceramic Pro PPF with a lifetime warranty, registered in your name, with the job reported to the vehicle’s CARFAX.

The worst case is the common one: a few years from now you pay to have a protection removed that looked cheap today and was supposed to last a decade, and you find the paint marked underneath. The cheap film cost twice.

What a cheap film job looks like

Six things we find when a car comes in to have someone else’s film taken off.

Razor blade trimming paint protection film beside the Ferrari badge on a red hoodThe blade this close to the paint is exactly where the damage happens. Our film is plotter-cut from your model's pattern before it touches the car; any relief cut around a badge is made on the film, never on the clear coat. Photo: Elite Premium Detailing (from our installation footage)

Blade cuts in the paint

The film is trimmed on the car with the blade riding on the clear coat. Every cut line is a scratch you find the day the film comes off. Ours is cut off the car, from the pattern for your exact model, so the blade never runs on the paint.

Dirt and bubbles under the film

Dust, lint and trapped water sealed under the film in an open bay show up in the first week of Florida sun. Ours goes on after the decontamination wash, in a closed, climate-controlled bay.

Seams and lifting edges

Relief cuts across the middle of a panel, edges stopped short of the panel edge, corners that lift at the first pressure wash. We wrap the edges wherever the panel allows and keep seams where the eye does not go.

Yellowed, brittle old paint protection film peeled off a black Porsche hood next to the Porsche crestOld film coming off a Porsche hood: yellow and brittle after a few years.

Film that yellows and stains

Unbranded film with no top coat turns yellow and holds bug and sap marks. Urban carries a 10-year warranty and Ceramic Pro PPF a lifetime warranty on the original factory paint, both registered in your name. Stains are maintenance, not a defect, which is why Full Front comes with a Ceramic Pro Sport coating on the entire car.

Film over sensors and cameras

Film laid over a parking sensor, a radar cover or a camera lens, or a bumper refitted a few millimeters off, and the driver aids start throwing warnings. Every sensor, camera and radar cover on your model is worked around, never covered.

CARFAX logoEvery Ceramic Pro coating and film we install is reported to the vehicle's CARFAX.

No registered warranty

A “lifetime warranty” typed on an invoice is worth what that shop is worth next year. Ours is the manufacturer’s, registered in your name, and the Ceramic Pro work is reported to the vehicle’s CARFAX.

On a Ford

  • F-150, Raptor and Super Duty: the hood, the top of the bumper and the mirror caps take the highway stone; that is where a short-cut job shows first.
  • Bronco: removable panels and a flat hood; the edges are wrapped so the film survives the trail wash.
  • Mustang GT and Dark Horse: low splitter and wide fenders, Full Body for most owners.

Ceramic coating: what the word does not tell you

What the word hides

  • “Ceramic coating” is not a regulated term. Any product with some SiO2 in it can carry the name, even in a trace amount, with no proven durability test, even when it is a sealant in practice.
  • There is a wide gap between a true professional coating and the spray coatings and DIY kits sold with the same words on the label.
  • The cheapest quote may be applying a coating bought online, or a DIY kit, and charging for it as professional work. You cannot tell from the gloss on delivery day.
  • What separates them is chemical resistance, thickness, durability measured in years and a warranty registered in your name.

What Elite Dealer means

Elite Dealer is the highest level in the Ceramic Pro dealer program. The professional Ceramic Pro coatings (Sport, Bronze, Silver, Gold, ION and Ultimate ION) are not sold to the public or on marketplaces, only through trained, certified installers. Every application here is registered in your name and reported to the vehicle’s CARFAX, with the warranty of the package you chose: Bronze 2 years, Silver 5, Gold and Ultimate ION lifetime.

One Stop Shop: coatings, window films, paint protection films

Registered warranty

Elite Premium Detailing is a Ceramic Pro Elite Dealer with a 5-star record. Every Ceramic Pro coating and Ceramic Pro PPF job is registered in your name and reported to the vehicle’s CARFAX with the date, the product and the installer. Because the film and coating are documented on the vehicle's CARFAX, the reinstallation can be included in an insurance repair after a collision. Terms are the manufacturer’s: Urban PPF 10 years, Ceramic Pro PPF the lifetime of the original factory paint, Ceramic Pro coatings by package (Bronze 2 years, Silver 5, Gold and Ultimate ION lifetime), KAVACA Ultimate IR window film for the life of the vehicle. Staining is not a warranty item on any film, ours included, which is why the coating goes over it.

A car with years on it looking better than the day you bought it.

“The shine on my truck is incredible”

Rafael and his team did a great job. This was my first time getting my car ceramic coated (2024 F150 Raptor). They first did a pain correction to get all the swirls/scratches out of the paint. I went with the gold ceramic coating package with lifetime warranty. The shine on my truck is incredible and the paint looks better than the day I got it. Rafael had great communication. I’d highly recommend.

Ford questions, answered

What Ford owners ask before booking

Can you wrap an F-150 or a Raptor?
Yes. Full color change from $3,950 for a Large vehicle in 3M, Avery Dennison or Inozetek film, or a satin hood, roof and chrome delete for far less. Paint protection film goes on the front end under or around the wrap so the truck survives I-75.
What does Full Front PPF cost on an F-150?
The F-150 is a Large vehicle in our matrix, so Full Front starts at $2,299 in Urban film with a 10-year warranty, with the Ceramic Pro Sport coating on the entire truck included. Track Package adds the rockers and A-pillars.
Is full body PPF worth it on a Mustang?
If the car is a keeper, yes: the paint on a GT or Dark Horse is most of the resale value and the front fenders and rockers take stone from the tires. Full Body starts at $5,550 for a Standard vehicle; Track Package from $2,590 covers the highway panels only.
