Seams and lifting edges

Relief cuts across the middle of a panel, edges stopped short of the panel edge, corners that lift at the first pressure wash. We wrap the edges wherever the panel allows and keep seams where the eye does not go.

Registered warranty

What happens between drop-off and pickup

Two to three days for a front end, about a week for a full body. The car stays indoors the entire time.

• Free inspection. Paint checked under lights with you there. Existing Alley chips get flagged, because they are touched up before film covers them. You leave with a written price.
• Decontamination. Iron fallout, tar and road film off the paint, then clay. Whatever is sealed under the film stays there for a decade, so this is done properly.
• Hand installation, edges wrapped. Each piece cut for your car, laid wet, squeegeed and heat-set, with the edge wrapped around the panel instead of trimmed short of it.
• Cure, inspect, register. The film sets indoors, gets a final pass under light, and the install is logged with the manufacturer and reported to CARFAX against your VIN.
