How the coating goes on

Two to three days for most cars. The coating needs a stable, dust-free room to flash and cure, which is why it happens in a closed bay and not a driveway.

• Free inspection. Under lights, with you standing there. Swirls, water spots and oxidation get named, because a coating locks in whatever is under it.
• Decontamination and correction. Iron fallout and tar removal, clay, then machine polishing. One stage is included in every package; heavier correction is quoted when the paint calls for it.
• Layering by hand. 9H base coats build the thickness, Top Coat brings the gloss and slickness. Each layer flashes before the next, panel by panel, in a climate-controlled room.
• Cure and documentation. The car sits indoors while the coating hardens, then the package is registered with Ceramic Pro and reported to CARFAX against the VIN, with the annual inspection date on your paperwork.

Why a coating earns its keep in Davie
