How the coating goes on a beach-side car
Two to three days for most cars. The coating needs a stable, dust-free room to flash and cure, so it happens in the bay, not a driveway.
- Free inspection. Under lights, with you there. Salt etching, water spots and swirls get named, because a coating locks in whatever is under it.
- Decontamination and correction. Iron remover, tar remover, clay, then machine polishing. One stage is in every package; a Hollywood car that has never been garaged sometimes needs more, and we say so before starting.
- Layered by hand. 9H base coats for thickness, Top Coat for gloss and slickness, each layer flashed before the next, panel by panel in a climate-controlled room.
- Cure and documentation. The car sits indoors while the coating hardens, then the package is registered with Ceramic Pro and reported to CARFAX against the VIN, with the annual inspection date on your paperwork.
Warranty terms, and the one condition
Bronze is warrantied for 2 years, Silver for 5, Gold for the lifetime of the car, ION for 7 years, Ultimate ION for lifetime. These are Ceramic Pro manufacturer warranties, registered by us as the certified installer and visible on the CARFAX report. They cover the coating failing. They do not cover impacts, and they do not cover staining left to bake on, which on the coast means one thing: rinse the car.

Salt, sand and sun: the Hollywood case for a coating
A car parked anywhere east of the 95 in Hollywood is in salt air all night, and salt pulls moisture out of the air and holds it against the paint.
