Consult, drop-off, pickup

Three visits at most. The car stays in the building in between.

• Free wrap consult. Compare real film against your own paint in daylight, get the clear coat inspected, and leave with a written price for your car and finish.
• Salt off, trim off. Wash, full decontamination, and handles, badges and trim removed where the design calls for it. On a coastal car the decontamination takes longer, because vinyl only bonds to clean paint.
• Panel by panel, indoors. One panel at a time in a climate-controlled bay, squeegeed and post-heated, with every edge wrapped rather than cut at the surface.
• Reassembly and quality pass. Trim refitted, final inspection under light, and a walk-through of how to wash a wrapped car in salt air.

Wrapping a car a mile from the ocean

Salt haze is the Hollywood variable. It dries on the wrap overnight as a fine film, and the instinct to wipe it off dry is exactly what scratches vinyl. Rinse first, every time. On a satin or matte finish the haze shows sooner, which is why we suggest a coating over matte wraps on cars kept east of the 95: the panel gets rinsed instead of rubbed.
