The cheapest PPF job is the one you never have to redo

We are not the lowest quote in South Florida, and that is on purpose. The price for your car is published by size before anything starts and there is no fee added at pickup. Every film job includes the wash, the clay and iron decontamination, light paint correction where the paint needs it, wrapped edges wherever the panel allows, and a car that stays indoors from drop-off to pickup. A quote that beats it by a few hundred dollars is leaving one of those out.

Budget film usually has no anti-yellowing top coat and no registered warranty: two or three Florida summers and it yellows, stains and goes hard on the paint.

Paint protection film has to last at least ten years and stay clear the whole time. That is what your car gets here: Urban with a 10-year warranty or Ceramic Pro PPF with a lifetime warranty, registered in your name, with the job reported to the vehicle’s CARFAX.

The worst case is the common one: a few years from now you pay to have a protection removed that looked cheap today and was supposed to last a decade, and you find the paint marked underneath. The cheap film cost twice.

The film is trimmed on the car with the blade riding on the clear coat. Every cut line is a scratch you find the day the film comes off. Ours is cut off the car, from the pattern for your exact model, so the blade never runs on the paint.

Seams and lifting edges

Relief cuts across the middle of a panel, edges stopped short of the panel edge, corners that lift at the first pressure wash. We wrap the edges wherever the panel allows and keep seams where the eye does not go.

Unbranded film with no top coat turns yellow and holds bug and sap marks. Registered warranty

Because the film and coating are documented on the vehicle's CARFAX, the reinstallation can be included in an insurance repair after a collision. Consult, drop-off, pickup

Three visits at most. The car stays in the building in between.

• Free wrap consult. Compare real film against your own paint in daylight, get the clear coat inspected, and leave with a written price for your car and finish.
• Salt off, trim off. Wash, full decontamination, and handles, badges and trim removed where the design calls for it. On a coastal car the decontamination takes longer, because vinyl only bonds to clean paint.
• Panel by panel, indoors. One panel at a time in a climate-controlled bay, squeegeed and post-heated, with every edge wrapped rather than cut at the surface.
• Reassembly and quality pass. Trim refitted, final inspection under light, and a walk-through of how to wash a wrapped car in salt air.

Wrapping a car a mile from the ocean

Salt haze is the Hollywood variable. It dries on the wrap overnight as a fine film, and the instinct to wipe it off dry is exactly what scratches vinyl. Rinse first, every time. On a satin or matte finish the haze shows sooner, which is why we suggest a coating over matte wraps on cars kept east of the 95: the panel gets rinsed instead of rubbed.

The other thing to know is that a wrap is a finish, not armor. The 95 through Hollywood throws stone, and vinyl marks where a rock lands just as paint would. On a daily driver we put paint protection film on the hood, bumper and fenders and wrap over or around it depending on the build, in the same visit, so the color is the wrap and the protection is the film.
