What sets the price
- Size and shape. A two-door coupe is a third less material and labor than a three-row SUV.
- Film. Standard gloss and satin in 3M 2080 or Avery SW900 sit at the base; Inozetek super gloss, color-shift and textured films cost more per roll.
- Disassembly. Handles, mirrors, lights and trim come off so the film wraps under them. Cars with complex trim take longer.
- Paint condition. Any defect needs fixing before film goes on, or it shows through.
- Extras. Door jambs, chrome delete, roof in a second color, calipers.

Why the cheap quote costs more
Unbranded film fades and shrinks within a couple of years and can leave adhesive on removal. Branded cast film, installed with the trim off, lasts five to seven years and comes off clean.
