What colored PPF is
An 8 mil urethane protection film with pigment or a matte topcoat. It changes the finish like a wrap and stops rock chips like clear film. It is not vinyl; it is thicker, self-heals, and comes off clean.

Other brands sell fashion films in more colors. We install Ceramic Pro because the film, the coating and the warranty come from one manufacturer.
Which finish for Florida
Satin and matte hide dust and water spots better than gloss and do not show swirls. Black gloss shows everything; if you want it, put a Ceramic Pro coating over the film so it washes without touching. Every colored film needs pH-neutral washing and no automatic brushes.
Colored PPF versus wrap
Wrap: more colors, lower price, no chip protection, five to seven years. Colored PPF: fewer colors, higher price, full protection, 10-year to lifetime warranty. Keep the car and drive it: film. Change colors every few years: wrap, with clear PPF on the nose.
