What it is made of
Aliphatic polyurethane, the same family of material as the clear coat on your paint but much thicker and elastic. On top, a self-healing topcoat that re-flows with heat, so light scratches disappear. Underneath, a pressure-sensitive adhesive designed to release cleanly years later.
What it does
- Stops rock chips. A stone dents the film; the paint never knows.
- Heals swirls and wash marks in the sun or with warm water.
- Blocks the UV, love bugs, bird droppings and sprinkler minerals that etch paint.
- Keeps resale value: the paint under it is untouched.

PPF versus coating versus wrap
A ceramic coating is microns thick: UV, chemical and wash protection, no impact protection. A vinyl wrap changes the color and offers light protection for five to seven years. PPF is clear, stops impacts, and lasts 10 years on Ceramic Pro Urban and for life on Ceramic Pro PPF.
