Why Tesla specifically
Thin, soft paint from a fast production line. Owners report chips on the front bumper and hood within the first few thousand miles, rock rash on the rocker panels behind the front wheels, and swirls from the first automatic wash. All three are exactly what film prevents.
What to film, by model
- Model 3 (standard size): Full Front $1,999 in Urban. Track Package $2,590 adds A-pillars and rockers.
- Model Y (medium): Full Front $2,199. Track Package $2,799. Full Body $5,850.
- Model S and X (large): Full Front $2,299. Full Body $6,490.
Every Full Front and Full Body includes a $549 Ceramic Pro coating over the film.
The rockers
Tesla rockers sit low and wide. The front tires throw sand and gravel straight at them. That is why Track Package, which adds both rockers and A-pillars to the full front, is our most common Tesla recommendation after Full Front.
Warranty and charging
Film does not affect the Tesla warranty; it is a removable layer on the paint. It does not interfere with cameras, sensors or the charge port. We cut around the sensors and the port door so nothing is covered that should not be.
