Where matte black sits
Standard matte and satin blacks in 3M 2080 and Avery SW900 are base-tier films. Inozetek satin black costs more per roll and delivers a deeper, more paint-like finish. Color-shift and textured films are the top tier. Matte black is therefore one of the more affordable full wraps for any given car.
What moves the number
- Vehicle size: coupe, sedan, SUV, truck.
- Trim removal and reassembly time.
- Door jambs, roof, chrome delete as add-ons.
- Paint condition: repairs before film.
