How much should a full wrap cost?

Enough to pay for branded cast film, a full day or more of skilled labor with the trim off, and a bay that keeps dust out. For a sedan that is the low-to-mid thousands; for a large SUV in a premium film, more. A full wrap for the price of a paint job is a warning sign.

What a fair price pays for

What a cheap wrap skips

Trim removal (you will see the cut lines), prep (you will see every chip through the vinyl), branded film (you will see it fade), and a bay (you will see the dust). It looks fine on pickup day.

Will my car lose value if I wrap it?
No. A wrap is removable, and the factory paint under it has been protected from the sun for as long as the wrap was on. Sell it wrapped to a buyer who wants the color, or remove the wrap and sell it in the original color. A cheap wrap with adhesive left behind is the only way to lose value. Full answer →
Is satin finish better than matte?
For most cars and most owners, satin. It has the same flat look from a few feet away with a slight sheen up close, hides dust and water spots better than either gloss or true matte, and shows fewer marks. True matte is bolder and less forgiving. Full answer →
What is the downside of wrapping a car?
It is not paint: five to seven years of life, no rock-chip protection, and it shows a careless install (seams, lifted edges, bubbles) more than paint ever would. It also needs paint in good condition underneath and hand or touchless washing. Full answer →
What is the average cost of a car wrap?
A full color change in branded film on a sedan or coupe runs into the low-to-mid thousands, and larger vehicles, chrome-effect and color-shift films, and disassembly-heavy cars cost more. We quote per car after seeing it, and you can preview the film on your own car first. Full answer →
