How much does it cost to repaint brake calipers?

Our caliper color change starts at $280 for the set: stripped, prepped, color matched and finished in a high-temperature coating. The price moves with caliper size and the color, and it drops when bundled with a coating or PPF install.

What is included

What moves the price

Large multi-piston calipers take more prep. Custom colors and logos add time. Bundled with a Ceramic Pro coating or a PPF install, the wheels are already off and the price drops.

Paint versus wrap versus new calipers

Painting is permanent and heat-rated. Caliper "wrap" covers are a temporary look that traps heat and dust. New colored calipers from the manufacturer cost many times more.

Making them easy to keep clean

Add Ceramic Pro Wheels & Calipers so brake dust rinses off the finish instead of bonding to it.

Is it worth painting brake calipers?
If you notice your wheels, yes. Painted calipers are the highest-visibility change per dollar on a car, they stop rust and brake-dust staining on the caliper itself, and done properly they last for years. From $280 for the set. Full answer →
Is it cheaper to paint or wrap brake calipers?
Paint. Vinyl does not survive caliper temperatures, and the "caliper wrap" products sold online are covers or heat-shrink sleeves that trap dust and heat. A proper high-temperature caliper finish is the only durable option, from $280 for the set. Full answer →
How long will painted calipers last?
Done properly, the life of the brakes. Calipers stripped, prepped and finished in a high-temperature coating stay the color they were painted; brake dust wipes off instead of baking in. Rattle-can jobs over dirty calipers peel within months. Full answer →
