What a lifetime warranty covers
The coating failing to perform: loss of hydrophobics, loss of gloss, oxidation of the paint under it. If the coating stops doing its job within the term, it is inspected and reapplied.
What no coating warranty covers
- Rock chips, scratches, collision damage. That is what film is for.
- Staining from bird droppings, sap or sprinklers left on the paint. Manufacturers exclude it, ours included.
- Damage from brush washes, abrasive polishing or harsh chemicals.
- Coatings applied by someone else.
What keeps it valid
An annual Ceramic Maintenance Detail: decontamination, inspection and a top-up of the coating. It is also the reason the coating still beads in year eight. Terms in full are on our warranty page.
